Is cybersex a real experience or just a fling?

I'm not really a chatter. I've tried several times, but I like games like quake3 you know, first person shooters... however most of my girl-friends were fond of those chats... first I was very irritated at what they were doing. But then I thought that there was nothing wrong with this... just chatting with some guy in virtual world and that's all. It is NOT real like me killing virtual monsters. At that point I stopped worrying about it.
